I think continuity is important. To pick up where we left off on offense next year, we can't be introducing a new guy into McVay's system.

Especially when we have somewhat built an identity... we are a top offense.

The Rams made this mistake, IMHO, when they kept Leonard Little over AZ Hakim. The had the GSOT. You gotta keep the band together when it's hot.

As a general rule, what good does it do if you build a great defense if it comes at the expense of the keeping the offense explosive?

You need balance, but in today's don't touch the QB, everything is Pass Interference league, it's most important to be able to score the most points.
