What my uneducated eyes saw was Havenstein didn't play at his normal level when he had weak guards next to him. I think he worried too much about helping them and his responsibilities suffered.
When Edward's played well, Haves played well. The same as when Dotson is in there Haves can focus on his job only cause he trusts Dotson. Dotson can just play his role and not worry. That is the gel of the Oline.
