There's a common perception that running / athletic QBs are not good passers and as such are not elite. From looking at the passer ratings I'd say that that perception is inaccurate. Some very good running QBs are also good passers. Your list names some of them.
Your point about the QB position being changed is a good one. The days of a QB only being able to pass are long gone and a good passing QB who can run adds a great deal more to a team than a good passing QB who can't run.
I think the QB edge still goes to the best pure passers regardless of how well they run. It's almost fascinating to me how a young Purdy is the league leader in both QBR and PR, (given over 100 attempts). That's bad for us and a bad sign of things to come.
