In 2022 Kendrick had 3 penalties for 43 yards in 522 snaps (1 holding, 2 pass interference) while Durant had 1 penalty for 5 yards (holding) in 392 snaps [

This year Kendrick leads the team with 10 penalties for 96 yards in 843 snaps (5 pass interference, 1 unnecessary roughness, 4 'other'). Note that Nacua and Shelton are a distant second with 5 each. Durant has 2 penalties for 15 yards in 515 snaps (1 hold, 1 pass interference) [

I think most if not all of the 'other' penalties for Kendrick are facemask. (edit: as per JY53's post below those 4 'other' penalties break down as follows: 2 facemasks, 1 horse collar tackle, 1 illegal use of hands)
And it also seems like most if not all of Kendrick's penalties come at the worst possible time.
Penalties certainly work in Durant's favor in the Durant vs. Kendrick discussion as well as his straight line track speed. And those two factors are really easy to quantify.
The questions I posed, though - how does one measure them? (I know how the coaches do it: I mean how do you and I do it?)
