He's better than Jefferson for the Rams. Period.
Jeferson's clock speed didn't translate into game-breaking speed on the field.
Jefferson's catch radius was OK; Robinson's is far broader, taller.
Biggest difference: Robinson is competitive for contested balls, does not shy away from contact at the point of the catch; Stafford can throw to him in certain coveraages and have cond fidence that he will make the play. That's worth more than either Tutu or Van put on the field.
You can't help but root for Tutu. He's tried so hard, come so far, but still - the Rams are a different team with him off the field and Robinson on.
I hope the Rams keep him. One of the intangibles to be evaluated is the chemistry between receiver and quarterback. You don't just buy and sell that on the open market. I want to see that investment pay off next year.
