I think they do it in a series of steps. To break a wild card tie among 3 or more teams from different divisions, the very first step is:
"Apply division tiebreaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2."
By that logic, NO is eliminated by ATL, who is better in their division. And the Rams eliminate Seattle, since the Rams beat them twice in the NFC West.
So instead of a 5 way tie, 2 teams are now eliminated (NO and SEA), making it a 3-way tie.
Both GB and Rams beat ATL based on better conf win percentage. So now we are down to 2 teams, GB and LAR.
In the last step, GB beats Rams based on head to head.
BTW, points scored almost NEVER comes into play.... many many steps before that.
