I understand in non playoff games if the O/T ends without a score it's a "tie". I also know that the receiving team cannot win the game on a FG in its first posession. Other team must have a chance to "respond". Receiving team gets the ball and for some strange reason runs out the 10 minute clock-or almost does-in the last second the receiving team kicks a FG. Does the game then end in a "tie" or are they given a win or does the last second FG not count? If the latter and assuming the FG is the longest ever "recorded" which begs the Q-is it recorded ?
These things are the reason I don't sleep well at night.
