As not much was happening and the Rams were stuck in the mud before Everett entered, I was catching SOME grief. I kept saying...What till Everett gets in there!!! They were just saying "WHO???" I kept saying...."JUUUUST WAIT!!!" Everett enters and the Rams start rolling! I was running my Yapper non stop! To the point it went from fun for them to annoying them because I was right. AND THEN..............As the Hail Mary was in the air, EVERYONE leaned forward in their chairs. You could not see the catch on TV. All I saw was the Ref's arms go up. I literally fell face down on the floor as I heard a ROAR from a dozen other guys in the room. LOL I had to take my medicine. I asked for it. That was 1986 and my first season of NFL in the USAF. When I left in Feb 1990, one of the Civilian Firemen I worked with actually brought up that game. He said they all admired how I handled that because they were TRYING to piss me off for fun. LOL In hindsight, it's my most......"FOND"????? Rams loss???? LOL
