You remember Ram23?

Ram23 never listened to the announcers.... he didn't like them, at all! I can't remember for sure but he either turned the sound off completely OR maybe he tuned in to the Ram's radio broadcast instead?

The radio thing may be me projecting onto Ram23 because I did that.

I almost never contribute to announcer posts because I can't.... I don't hear them. But it's not because I don't like them.... although over the years that was the case occasionally.... I just don't listen to them because I'm too into watching the game.... providing my own commentary inside my head.

When something controversial occurs, or I need further explanation on what happened, I'll listen in a "little". But for 95% of the banter going on during games I hear almost none of that. Again... it's just not me... I don't tune them out as a protest. Ask my wife... she'll back me up on this... I'm not the most attentive listener.

Back to that "Rams Radio Broadcast" thing.. KMPC LA. I could receive their station here, at home, 250 miles north. They were great. Dick Enberg. Definitely RAM fans but IMHO more than fair in their commentary. I nearly always had them on the radio during games and not the TV announcers. - JamesJM
