But let's be fair: Deacon played a 14 game season as a rookie. Kobie would need 2 sacks per game to equal Deacon's
unofficial output, and two sacks in one game and three in another to beat it.
And if you factor in pass attempts per game before the league adjusted the rules to usher in the passing game with more attempts that we watch today, I'd surmise that the Deacon's actual achievement becomes more significant.
That said, Kobie is developing into a real good young player. I hope he does come close to Deacon's and Donald's records.
