No Sacks for Garrett! Do we use a high pick on a LT?

December 04, 2023 07:47AM
The whole OL was outstanding yesterday, but Jackson stood out for his performance against the possible Defensive Player of the Year. Yes, Garrett was dinged up, but in his own words, "It did not bother me much". Quite a few posts have been devoted to taking a LT with a high pick. I disagree- Jackson is young and growing into the position. quite a few of our most productive runs come behind Jackson and Avila. We have many other needs to address. Can we focus on those more important needs to get this team competitive with the whiners, eagles, and cowboys? I, like everyone else, am surprised at how well we are doing this year. I said we would win 5-6 games. I do not think we are in the same talent level as the top NFC teams, but as the saying goes.... On Any Given Sunday!!!!! Let's use the picks to get more physical!

Needs for next year

QB for the future
Edge
CB
Center
Beefy DL- Brown is playing well, but we need a backup
Possible WR - Kupp does not look the same. I'm hoping it is an injury he can fully recover from.
Possible RB-If Royce is not resigned
