I'm not for taking a QB high this year. BUT.....if they did....then hopefully its with the plan to sit the guy for hopefully 2 years.
GB paid a goodly price for Love and were smart to ignore the catcalls and instead let him learn NFL football from the master.
Then of course, he had to play a few games to put that into practice.
It is just flat unfair to throw a rookie QB out there from day 1. I realize there are exceptions to the rule. But counting on rolling a hard 6 for a highly taken QB is playing against the odds....and in most cases human development.
Interesting that it was exactly the same for Rogers. There's not very many Peyton Mannings that come along with that advanced playing skills as rookies.
