RockRam
We can speculate all day long, but no one here knows what the deal is with Bennett.
But it seems to me that if the Rams.....who DO know what is going on with Bennett.... are still keeping him on the team and apparently paying him, then they may not be done with him at all.
Perhaps I don't understand the pay system and they have to pay him no matter what.... I don't know how this works.
But I also know that the Rams don't easily give up on their draft picks.
I get what you are saying Rock but I just don't see the Rams cutting a player who is having personal issues. At least not during the season. They will try and help that player the best they can.
Cutting him now while he needs some kind of help would not be a good look or the right thing to do IMO. The Rams are a very "player friendly" organization as we all know seeing how we allow most players to dictate where they want to go when traded just so they are happy.
Now, if he still has problems through the off season, I could see them rethinking it but IMO, they will not just let him go while he needs the support.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
