I know Staley is not a good coach and their defense is not good and they seem to make a lot of mental mistakes and all but...he puts up big numbers but do you trust him in the 4th quarter with the game on the line? A come from behind, winning drive? Can't think of many. Just opportunities that are blown.
The whole team collapsed in the playoffs last year but...if they could have scored, even a little, in the second half, they would have won, no? And it's not like the shelf is bare. They have one of the best Wr's in the league, one of the best all purpose backs, and a receiving threat at tight end.
At this point he kind of looks like Kirk Cousins part 2 - lots of gaudy numbers and unmistakable talent - just not much to show for it.
