It is a false narrative that McVay doesn't want to run the ball....we all know how much better this offense is when we can run the ball, no one knows that more than McVay
Unfortunately we haven't had the same success in recent years doing it...losing Gurley and OL issues the last few years didn't help.
But Mcvay isn't stupid, nor is he perfect...Remeber the Super Bowl we won a couple years ago? We couldn't run the ball and McVay wisely stopped trying to run into a brick wall....thank god we didn't just continue to try running it just to appease some fans.
