We'll soon be on our way to a log house at the base of Big Creek Canyon here in the Bitterroot Valley, where a view of mucjh of the natural splendor that typifies America can be seen fthrough the windows where we'll be gathered with three families (a decades long tradition among us) for the usual holiday accoutriments, turkey and football, and time spent thanking the Lord for all good things.
May all of you and yours, those fortunate enough to have four sons (yep, thinking of you personally, bro) and other family be blessed today.
I don't know which games will be televised in our area, but there will be a TV on in one room and that's where I'll be on the couch trying to avoid a tryptophan-induced stupor. I'll check here for a rundown on what happened.
Meantime, all of you, I'm sure, will take this time to put the uncertainty of a crazy world aside and focus on the basics that this hoiday calls to mind, and be grateful.
