Re: Should Rams have given in to Jalen Ramsey‘s demands, instead of trading him?

It was all about the cap and resetting things going forward.

It allowed us to load up on young players and give them a shot at playing so they would be ready for next season.

Notice we had a bunch of picks last year and are loaded up on picks this year. Notice we have a bunch of cap space available next season.

We had a haul in last years draft and I expect the haul will be even bigger as some of those guys will blossom next season. So we are off to a great start.

Next years draft looks promising at QB, WR, OL. Not sure about the defensive side. We have our high picks and should be able to reload on young and cheap talent. We have cap space and should be able to land a few impact players.

I would also look for improvement with the current bunch of young guys we have, especially on defense. Seem like thee is potential for a couple more to emerge as future starters.

Ramsey trade needed to be made thought it is still a bit of a head scratcher why there was such a limited market for him and why we got so little in return.
