I think we signed Wentz, who might have been a lead candidate to jump in with either of those teams, just prior to their injuries.

To me, Carson was the only available arm out there worth signing.
Might be that a couple of clubs could be grousing. Clearly, Carson has fallen out of favor, however he's started and been successful. He's not going to be a deer in the headlights like so many backups.
