When you think about it, they're only at SoFi for 10 games a year. So there is not really much need to be near the stadium.

Other factors are involved. Where is enough land available to build it? Your team will be going there every day, ideally it would be in an area that players/coaches would want to live.

Woodland Hills fit the bill in both cases.
