And I don't think the Rams will be willing to pay him that because they will draft another young QB to align behind Stafford.
Teams are not going to trust him with a big paycheck even if he plays well. His goal here with us is to rebuild his name as a QB2 and show he can function in that role and then this offseason try to acquire the job for it. If by some miracle he has to play a lot of the remaining games and he excels then he will go the route of Baker Mayfield, that being another team paying him but it won't be the Rams.
