I remember Pat Summerall saying no Kick is a chip shot as so many things have to go right, the OL must block dont false start then the snap hold and Kick.
I remember George Allen was the 1st HC to Hire a ST Coach and that man was Dick Vermeil in 1969. I watched DV on Rams Iconic that I posted here say he had Vet Starters on STs. Rams Great Ed Meador said the snap and placement must be in 2 secs as he held for yrs.
