I like the idea of getting a better-than-average journeyman vet "right now."

Card went out and got such a player in Ross Gandy for the LT who played well enough to help that Warner-driven team reach the Super Bowl. Gandy was no Whitworth - but I bring him up to support the idea of trading for a vet who can play consistently.

Besides, if real plug-and-play offensive lineman, all-pro written all over him is targeted and available when the Rams are on the board, they'll probably draft a speedy little wideout instead. confused smiley

Too funny! lol

The LT wouldn't have to be a Pro Bowler, just someone who could hold their own at the position and has some potential too.

I think either way, we want an LT who can play sooner rather than later. Of course that would require very good scouting by Snead and his crew! beer cheer smiley

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood

Are Rams already showing interest in draft’s top left tackle?

If they are drafting high enough, I think LT is the pick.

I think Rams are looking at a lot of options this offseason via FA and the draft…
