I like the signing also since Wentz is a legit NFL QB unlike what we've had outside of Matthew and Mayfield over the past several years. But I also approach it with caution based on the ginger's stay with the Eagles, Colts and Commanders.
Wentz is very very smart, a 4.0 graduate. As with many brilliant people, they can become arrogant, believe they are the smartest guys in the room and it can rub teammates and coaches the wrong way. His talent is off the charts too but he plays "hero ball" because of the arrogance which leads him to injury. With all this said, he's never played for McVay who is also brilliant in his own way. I hope they don't butt heads and we may never know but one of them is going to give and we can only hope that Wentz is the one willing to listen, learn and execute.
