The team that signed Bortles and even may have brought him back once hedged on grabbing Wentz until week 10. That is some self inflicted madness. They had options and they pretend they still want to win. Wow just wow. How unfair to fans and to the team and disrespectful to Wentz as well as other options. I salute Minnesota and yet the Jets and Giants look almost sinister when you think of it. I hope Wentz works out. I think Matthew Stafford is a missed block or two from retirement and that is fine if you have a responsible backup plan.
