One glaring Tomlinson stat that has me hesitant: in for just four snaps and gets a PI?
Kendricks makes it for 10 or more w/o a PI. That's three times longer on the field w/o a PI than Tomlinson.
If PI calls were to go drastically up with Tomlinson playing "just to see what he can do" I'd be............never mind.
Wait until that blockage in his skill set has been cleared (and it may take some time with an aggressive undersized player who deveoped his approach under college rules) and
then play him. Until then he's a worse liability than Kendrick.
He should then be able to play the position at an equivalent or better PI/snap ratio than Kendricks, and (drumroll..........) make plays.
