They said it was that play for the injury, but I say Nay Nay!

Basically ended Stafford's season, and all for one point. The season is sunk.

Do it goes.

This is one thing Rams do well, is lie and spin facts.
They are very image conscious, and it is sorta like saying this is a remodel given what they did not do this off-season vs how they weakened the entire structure of the team in the off season and had little plans to shore it up.
No real Kicker
No ST up-grades
No Back-up QB those are the little details you would tend to if you were expecting to be not just competitive but to actually fight for wins in a highly competive league and division.
Where is the young veteran DE specialist who could fit in well for now and in the future.
For a team that trades there assets for handshakes, hugs and a bottle of sanitizer all the time leaving fans in need of a shower, I really would never trust what they are selling to the fans and media.
We never addressed our Identity, We only tried to hide behind the excellent identity of our 3 best players still on the team. Basically pointing to the past and not recent past.

Well today we all saw the real play where Stafford was adjusting his thumb and in obvious discomfort after jamming it on the helmet of the opposition.
That is a fact and it only begs your question as to why we would feel the urgency to need to call a play like that putting our QB in harm's way?

So rather than be honest and say that Matt denied having a serious hand injury they settle on the play that aggravated it further.
Not surprising from a man who describes his wife's pregnancy and delivery of his first child as the work of a stud which is wrong in soo many ways. But the fact that he skipped family and baby to coach a game we were set up to loose before the season began. Where is the new Sean McVay? The one that puts family and personal life first. The one who tried to convince us that Stetson Bennet was all that?

I could go on and on but believe what you see and saw and less of what you hear from them because before it's all done they will spin a new tale to explain what amounts to nothing close to what you've seen before they have spun it.
