Re: Rams likely need 10 wins/possibly 9 to ENSURE a Wild-card birth

It sure will!
If they fail today (go to 3-5) it's pretty much just back to a developmental year as the Rams would have to play well above their heads the rest of the way just to have a shot at the play-offs.

10 games left.
That means the Rams must go either 7-3 or 6-4 at worst from here on to have a chance.
A loss today means the season is nearly over as that would push it to 8-2 or 7-3 the rest of the way.
At Cowboys and with all the questions about the play-calling, in-game management, underperforming offense in general and still quite a young and inexperienced defense with some holes in it... that's not an easy task.
The offense was supposed to carry this team until the defense matured some the 2nd half of the season.

Would not be completely surprised if the Rams surprise the almost always overrated Cowboys. The Rams certainly do have the talent to score 25-35 pts. and beat the Cowpukes. A lot rides on the game-plan and 2nd half adjustments and then of course assuming reasonable player execution based on their talent being well-directed.

Some questions are gonna get answered today about these 2023 coaches and players.

The season is effectively OVER outside of young player development and coaching performance review
