This is the year it has to come together for the Niners to win the Superbowl, or they'll be trending somewhat downward starting in 2024, at least partly due to cap issues and draft position.
I don't count out the Niners this year just because they're stumbling right now. I remember in the Rams Superbowl year how they lost like 3 in a row and they were written off. The NFL simply doesn't work this way especially with the large number of teams that make the playoffs each year. A team can suddenly get hot (or get right) and go all the way.
So, while I'm a Niner hater, to think they are no longer a playoff team is wishful thinking.
