1. He needs to play better in terms of anticipating the rush (which usually he's quite good at) and also mentally handling things when he takes a hit or two early on. In our losses you can see him change with the first couple hits he takes, where he starts panicking and dishing the ball too quickly or missing targets. So he deserves criticism in how he has handled pressure.
2. Schematically McVay needs to refresh his hot options. Pittsburgh has a poor secondary but with two weeks prep time by Tomlin they were all over our tendencies and route combinations. At the very least I think McVay and his OC need to cook up some fresh hot options for his QB and do a better job prepping him to anticipate a given opponent's rush. Dallas is going to be very tough so hope this happens.
And I'll add it's unfortunate that our run game completely lacks threat the moment Williams went out. At least Freeman provides a threat of power and potential for wearing down the defense but basically our offense is Stafford.
