He simply needs better protection. Switch QBs in today's game and he wins with the Steeler protection.
He had plenty of time to throw most of the game........how many lines can contain T.J. Watt forever? Stafford holds the ball way too long and seems to only look for Kupp or Nacua.......plus that interception was terrible.....
Stafford throws a pretty spiral but put a little pressure on him....he folds like a cheap chair. Stafford is one dimensional and too predictable.....he can't escape pressure.....less than 50% completion rate and that bad interception is on him.
One thing about a qb like Pat Mahomes, Tom Brady and Joe Montana is that they aren't as predictable, can escape pressure by moving around in the pocket, make the completion to different targets and change the momentum of a game...While Stafford stands there like a statue and throws bad pass after bad pass to the same 2 receivers and going three and out....if his protection isn't perfect don't expect Stafford to change the game momentum against a good defense.
