Something is awry....

They had to have a reason to search his car.... they can't just say, "Your registration is past due so we're going to search your car".

And the 'why' is not part of that explanation. Whatever it was... it was dropped. But it HAD to be something otherwise it's illegal search and seizure and all charges will be tossed.

I think I better note here that I am NOT trying to excuse Kendricks for carrying a firearm illegally... bad thing that.... just noting that there is more to this story. - JamesJM
