I could see AD actually being very similar to The Rock's Father "Soulman" Rocky Johnson.
A quiet soft spoken strong man who would take a beating by the bad guys until his temper just explodes and he annihilates the bad guy. He could be a great "baby face" good guy too.))))
He probably would prefer being a good guy so his young daughters could see their dad as a hero. Unfortunately, AD also has a really hot temper when things go sideways so he could end up going heel at any time if someone pisses him off.
To be a good "heel" or bad guy you need to be able to "talk" on the mic a little to make the fans hate you. Not sure if AD has that in him. He would need a "mouth piece" or manager to do that for him. lol))))
Paul Heyman comes to mind! He takes most guys who are rough on the mic (Brock) and acts as a mouthpiece for them.
Heenan would have been the perfect manager for him Killrazor! He was the best in the business followed by the great Captain Lou Albano!))))

AD def has a future in the sport if he would choose to do so like many many football players before him. Like Wahoo McDaniel, Ernie Ladd, Goldberg and many others!))))
Absolutely, if guys like Keven Green and Steve McMichael can have respectable wrestling careers, AD could too.
AD's first match??? How about "Iron" Aaron Donald vs George "Brittle" Kittle??? No holds barred. Anything goes. Last man standing match!))))
Well, with the UFC/WWE merger, I'd be down to see AD fight that chump in the octagon as well!
