Substitute someone, anyone, for Hoecht at OLB. Someone from outside or inside. Hoecht is incapable of playing there and opponents are abusing him. Hoecht can contribute on DL, so use him there. Morris has nothing to lose by tinkering there.
Morris needs to do some tinkering at CB with his starting assignments. Durant ain’t working at star/slot or whatever that is anymore. Kendrick is a crippling penalty machine. So do the obvious. Start rotating other players into a tryout role there. Perhaps sit Kendrick and move Durant into his spot outside? Shelley at slot? Maybe Tomlinson somewhere? But for heaven’s sake don’t keep banging your head against this self made wall at CB for the next 12 games!
