Tough to play more than 8 road games a year - Rams have to play many more. But it probably makes them a better "real" road team.
Anyone that remembers those playoff games in 1999 and 2001 - The Eagles fans could not be heard at the NFCCG in 2001 same with the GB fans in the Divisional. Both teams "travel" well, but there was no where to travel too because the Rams fans held their tickets.
The lack of HFA in Sofi is a real disappointment, particularly after a SB win.
Don't know what anyone can REALISTICALLY DO about it other than to restrict sales by "Season ticket holders" at risk of forfeiture and actually enforce it. That won't happen because the teams are making money regardless of who makes the noise.
yeah, it used to rock in 1999-2003, but soon after that it became a morgue....not a lot of fan bases circle St Louis as a road trip destination, unlike SoCal and the greatest stadium in the world.
I will say although the Niners game(NFC Championship) had a ton of Niners fans(as usual) it was not a majority.....This picture here shows it
and the Cardinal game in the WC game was 95% Rams fans and in both cases the place was rocking
like I said, unfortunately there are 20M people within an hour car ride from SoFi and many of those people are transplants or Niners fans becuse there was no football in LA for 20 years...
It is gonna take at least another 10 years of consistent winning to make much of a dent when certain teams come to town
