usually the Rams and most other teams run the ball when they have a lead and are having success running the ball....playing catch up against good run defenses isn't exactly condusive to running the ball...although, I would lioke to see more creative runs...what happened to the jet sweeps? End around with Tutu worked well and they havent ran it since ???
Had Stafford hit Atwell and we take a 21-20 lead and take back the momentum, we probably would have seen more runs mixed in, but he missed the throw and it changed everything
couldn't agree more on Hoecht and Morris
All I know is I hope that we don't go the entire year watching Hoecht try to play edge.
Thats a fireable offense, imo.
The guy (10 tackles 0.5 sacks) isn't doing anything out there. I dont understand the Rams thinking on this one. This is like playing Demby way too long when everyone knows he can't play at an acceptable NFL level.
It's not Hoecht. It's the coaches fault for playing him out of position.
