Agree. The issues you have outlined have been present in all 5 games so far.
Kendrick and his devastating penalties have been the biggest issue on defense IMO.
Hoecht, he shouldn't be covering in the pass defense. He gets burned every single time.
I thought before the season started that our defense was going to be BAD because of all of the youth, inexperience, and perhaps lack of talent but to be fair it has been better than I thought it would be. There are a few glaring, consistent issues that need to be addressed but I'm not going to pretend I know what the answers are. I don't. I wonder if the coaching staff thinks they have no other options.
With all of that though, we are more competitive than I thought we would be so far. If the youngsters can get all of this valuable experience this year and stay healthy it will just make us better moving forward.
