Great O-line with clean pockets, mvp caliber rb who can run and catch, top flight defense that takes the ball away and opposing offenses off the field. Elite player at WR and TE. A playcaller who can scheme people open all over the field
Is he a good QB on his own? Does it matter? He's good at what they want him to do - which is hit the open (often wide open) receivers in stride and don't turn the ball over. How many snaps has he played in his career where the 9'ers were behind or tied? I'd guess not many.
Could he bring them back from 2 scores late in a game? Could he be effective if he was under pressure / took multiple hits in a game? Can he win a shootout where he had to throw 40 times? How would he look on the Jets?
