17-14 at halftime so what did we see?

October 08, 2023 03:17PM
6 points given up by the defense and no points scored by the offense.

This was a potential win that was surrendered by a playcaller with no feel for the moment or flow of the game.

Maybe 5 rushing attempts in the second half. McVay is an easy read, and the other teams see this. Over 40 dropbacks by Stafford and RBs got 14 carries.

Stafford 6 per attempt. They knew the passing game was coming and no run attempts were.

Snead was the architect of that Super Bowl win with the deals he did that brought in talent. IMO McVay is riding on his coattails like Billick rode on Newsome's in Baltimore for years.

The schedule is muddy for the period before the bye week. Less so after that.

McVay sounds and looks like someone we know from the past.
