Butkus was simply the best, on and off the field. Great player & actor plus a great brand ambassador for the game. I did not get see him play much, so most of watching him was highlights & YouTube, but just the way he always conducted himself gave you insight on how the game used to be played. The Bears were never very good, during his tenure as Butkus played under Papa Bear George Halas, Jim Dooley & Abe Gibron. RIP Mr. Butkus, if was a pleasure to watch you at your craft.
