It STILL aches. BUT.......I ALWAYS look at the effort. He was HAULING, trying to cover ground that was the Safety spot. Hauling and....HE..LAID..OUT!!! When was the last time anyone saw a DB lay out so much just for a chance to tip a pass???? I honestly cannot recall. THESE DAYS, you would see the DB just throw his hands up and look for whoever blew the coverage, as they casually run in that direction. One of the most painful plays in Rams history, IMO, is also one of the biggest plays with HEART I have ever seen. You guys watch it again and watch Rod closely....He lays out , lands face down and slides several yards. It was ALL OUT for him.
