My reactions to the Tyler Higbee Contract Extension

1. Smart move. Locking up a valuable piece for a couple more years while he is still having his best years.

2. They are clearing some space for an acquisition (I type this not knowing the salary cap implications). Also, a potentially smart move depending on the acquisition.

3. They have now set themselves up perfectly to have the Georgia TE fall to them in the draft and they end up cutting Higbee to take a massive salary cap hit or they trade him for a swap of 7th round picks.
