I love McVay but he does some things that drive me crazy. I think he is a cross between Bill Walsh and Mike Martz. You can not deny his accomplishments but in the same breathe he will do something that blows you away.
McVay is brilliant, but he over coached Goff, and under coaches Stafford. I want McVay to take over play calling and call Stafford out when he throws those crazy pics. McVay did an outstanding job with Baker Mayfield and no O Line but with Staff it looks like he takes a back seat.
I have noticed that with Raheem Morris, when he had four potential HOF I felt he did not scheme at all, but with this young group I love Raheem's scheming.
I will also take this time to say I disagree with McVay's pick and use of a running back. Jonathan Taylor or Kareem Hunt would look good in horns, heck I would love it if we traded for Cordelle Paterson from the Falcons I like explosive players at the RB position.
