I love Peter King's writing. Always insightful and instructive, well informed. He lets the readers arrive at their own conclusions, rather than smiting them with prejudice and copy gleaned from a stat sheet.
This piece on Nakua tells me more than all of the other stuff I've read on him combined. Jourdan, writing for a venue I don't have access to, may equal or surpass King, but I don't know that. She'd be a close second, with Stu Jackson running third, at the head of a pack of the others. Dead last? Take a guess.
Being a fellow old guy, I'm really partial to King. Like you say, he lets the story stand forward, and it's always about the people inside of it.
