What was SUPPOSED to be a simple roof over the stadium....like Miami did, has tuned into a 2 BILLION replacement. The Jags / Khan want the City to foot a large chunk of the bill. This is just 3-4 years after they said the new scoreboard was needed to make the Stadium to where it needs to be. That was close to 70 million in tax money. Just yesterday, the Jags made a statement about the new stadium and....."The future of the Jags in Jacksonville". SHOT FIRED!
I LOVE the NFL but I hope the City tells the Jags to go have sex with themselves. The stadium is only 27 years old. Not a damned thing wrong with it. A roof over the fans would be nice but there is ZERO need for another stadium.
