I side with Adams. Suspend Rapp for a couple of games. Suspend the guy who wrecked Chubb's career for at least half the season. Suspend DK for a couple of games. Coaches will get the message fast and put a kaibosh on that sort of play. Right now theytend to overlook it or tacitly encourage it. Some coach it.
Players, when they lose game checks for every game suspended, plus fines based on a percentage of salary, will get the message too.
Fans pay to see the players who most often get injured by the dirty hits - not the guys who inflict them. How much carnage on the field will it take for the league to get the message? Must it get to the point of revenue loss?
