Ball security could be an issue. he had a ball peanut punched (whatever that is) out of his grasp in a preseason game. Not a good look on the video. Ball security can be coached up and learned. Evans is a smart, quiet, and highly motivated kid. He'll learn.
He's a good receive out of the backfield.

He's not afraid of contact and follows blocking when it's there, when it isn't he has a stiff-arm and steps out of tackles and gets yards on his own after contact, often by trucking somebody.
I like him and when he's ready want to see him in our backfield.
