Great backs are fun to watch, and a great part of the game. I loved Gurley and was stoked we got him where we did. But we won a Super Bowl without him. Lots of good backs in the League right now. But the Chiefs won with a journeyman last year. The Eagles ran behind a committee.
Guess I'll be the voice of dissent on this, but having a great back isn't what gets you to the dance. I have little interest in surrendering first round picks in draft or trade to acquire one. Funny we keep wanting to fill a hole that doesn't really exist here.
