I am flummoxed. Ancrum has been working to play RG for years and apparently won the starting position. We just traded for a mammoth RG. So, we're now playing our oft-injured LT who sucked at LG at RG? Sure, he draws the biggest pay check, but is he really better than Ancrum and Dotson? Can he play in the right side? What happened to his injury? Weirdness.

what we don't know is Anchrum's ability in GAP blocking ... Rams have not done it much and didn't show it in preseason much,

So, and just throwing this out there... it requires guards to sometimes pull ... in zone blocking they don't ... what is Acnhrum's pulling ability or timing
or whatever has not been good enough?

What if the more athletic Boom has looked better and the Rams want to hit Seattle with more GAP blocking, more pin and pulls, that they showed in preseason?

Not saying that will happen but that could explain a few things
