Rampage2K-
Some teams like to scheme things up for their back up QB to look good in preseason, that is not what McVay is about....nor should he be.
Why do you say "nor should it be"?
What is the harm in "game planning" a little for your QB2 in the Preseason? Especially one that needs it?
I am not saying go full out mid season game planning, but what it wrong with "planning a few plays or series" that would benefit our new QB2?
In fact, I will go as far as saying that it might actually HELP the young kid by giving him some added confidence by actually looking good instead of just throwing him out there to crash and burn? .
That just seems counter productive to me.
I can see why McVay doesn't play his starters. They are seasoned vets for the most part and should be fine without the extra work. But we are talking about a QB who NEEDS every bit help he can get.
If Bennett is going to be our starting QB2, I want him to be as confident as possible and game planning for a series or two would help a lot in that regard, IMO.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
