Well, it doesn’t 43, but at least they’re not standing pat. We potentially—as fans—could’ve been moaning after week 2 about the OL asking what happened in OTAs and the preseason practices? I thought the OL would be different. And we’d be none the wiser had this trade not gone down.
At least as fans we have a gauge to start the season. We were nearly blindsided heading into 2023.
Who knows? Maybe Dotson doesn’t mesh? But he’s a guy I’ve seen lineup when watching Steelers games, so I know he’s ready for the game and that he knows his position (guard).
It might just come down to having sufficient size or attitude for the run game? Don’t know.
